Tuesday, February 24, 2009 : During the fall elections, the McCain-Palin ticket joined right-wing talk media hosts in making wildly false allegations about the community organization, ACORN. These claims were designed to deter ACORN's voter registration and outreach efforts among low-income families, and clearly failed. But Obama's victory has not stopped the right-wing media machine from launching new falsehoods.
